Intelligence should use
only what it needs.
Artificial intelligence is not weightless. Every remote request depends
on physical infrastructure: data centres, specialised processors,
cooling systems, electricity and networks moving information around the
world.
GreenTrust takes a different starting point. When a task can run on
hardware that already exists in front of the user, sending it to distant
infrastructure should not be the automatic choice.
Local AI is not impact-free. Nothing computational is. Our goal is
simpler and more accountable: reduce unnecessary cloud dependence,
minimise unnecessary data movement and make computing power proportional
to the task.
That is the “Green” in GreenTrust: not a marketing
label, but a principle for how intelligence should be designed.
